My home made orange gin, which has been steeping for about 6 weeks. You add the orange flesh and peel, taking care to remove the pith, plus sugar. I also added cardamon seeds . I’ve kept some orange pieces in it for decoration.
With the rest of the orange I chopped it up and put it in an olive oil cake made with polenta and ground almonds. It’s a drizzle cake, and the syrup is also flavoured with cardamons. Absolutely delicious...... of course the gin infused orange helped too.
