Orton effect

After earlier than usual morning feeding, off to a meeting in Sääksmäki, 75 kilometres away. Our farm was given an award for participating 50 years in a bookkeeping scheme which provides information both to the farm and to research. An honour to receive one for the work of two generations!

After the award ceremony I left, but the old church nearby tempted me to try one of the techniques from Kirsi MacKenzie's workshop, the Orton effect. The image is made of two different exposures, one correctly focused with very small aperture, one out of focus with the largest aperture. The idea was to do this with multiple exposure in camera (with a third exposure in between), but I wasn't happy with the result, so I did the overlay in Photoshop afterwards.

Running errands on the way home, lunch at the local restaurant and then moving in the fertilizer that came yesterday.
