Silver birch

It's been another beautiful bright and sunny day with a temperature of 7C.

I finished my Christmas gift shopping this morning. I have never been so organised due to the fact that I no longer go to gym/swim and classes four times a week. I wonder if I shall return one day. My membership is on hold until February .

I wandered round the garden this afternoon cutting greenery and berries for the mantelpiece garland I plan to make. The branches and twigs are soaking in a bucket of water for 24 hours and will then be ready to use.

Although it was mid afternoon, the sky was still a vibrant blue and the silver birch appeared to be shining a golden colour.
