Blue Monday

Today is apparently Blue Monday, the most depressing day of the year. To cheer ourselves up we should get outside or sit by a window. Took this shot and a couple of the street this morning, not intended for blip, but when I read this story this seemed appropriate, and also because I've had a complete change of plans today.
H has been suffering from some of her joints clicking, particularly her hips, but last week this turned to pain as well. She saw the doctor this morning, who referred her for a x-ray, and as she's under 12, rang and booked her an appointment at the hospital for this afternoon, when a paediatrician was available, and no waiting around for her. Couple of weeks to wait now to see if anything shows up. Her friends all rushed to see her when I picked her up from school for the hospital, unlike her brother. B just home from school, and she went to him for a cuddle, he came back in the kitchen, dusted himself down and said 'I think that was pretty convincing'. I'm sure they love each other really.
