Paws for Thought!

I don't normally get emotional.....but I do admit today I got a little emotional. As you all know my Dad never really telephones anymore as he is not confident on the telephone since his stroke but today my voicemail pings though -

'its Dad, just wanted to know you got to that place you go to everyday, give me a call back'

I don't know why but it pulled me up short. I didn't think he worried anymore about things like me or my sister getting to work in the snow. I did give him a call back and he answered - normally Mum does and then passes me over to Dad. We had a whole conversation about snow and he hoped that I was going to leave early to avoid any bad traffic and to watch out for that hill and to be careful on my country lanes. Silly I know to get emotional about a simple telephone call and snow.
