Into the Forest...

After 2 days of mostly being inside, with 17 other folks, it was lovely to have the house to myself....Terry was off doing something most of the day!  So i spent my day doing odds and ends, most satisfying...a bit of reading, a bit of chatting with a friend....and a much needed walk in the forest!

I've always felt more at home walking in the forest, or the beach...or fields etc., than walking in the city....but now that i am reading this awesome book....The Overstory, by Richard Powers, I am having an even more intense experience.   This book has grabbed me ... and now that i will have some more free time, during the day, when i feel more awake, i can delve even more into it!   Highly recommend this book to anyone who loves trees!
