Why the sad face?

Mimi was attracted to Mum's brand new SAD lamp like a moth to a... well, any lamp really.
She's been feeling blue for the last two days and wondering why.

I wonder if it's got anything to do with the massive theatre-shaped hole in her life. After almost three months of intense rehearsal and four consecutive performances that had scores of mums in floods of tears (and a few dads), the sudden crash back to reality can be difficult.
Almost as difficult as an inelegant crash onto wet tarmac from a Dublin Bike. A week on and it's still shaggin sore. And I still can't sleep in my bed...
