Oldest stone bridge ....
in Scotland and dating from 1717. The packhorse bridges were one horse wide , with low parapets to facilitate the panniers the horses carried. I've blipped this before, but after swimming and botanical illustration it started to rain and got dark, so I was restricted.
The water is very low.
It was a warm day, temperatures about 6C and frost melted and snow streaked the tops.
