The big decision

Yesterday I drove down in MiniMo with good friends to the South Coast and we were intending to stay on a beach front caravan park site for three nights.  As luck would have it we didn’t even stay there for more than 10 minutes because of the very real threat of bush fires impacting on the area and if we didn’t turn around and head to a safer haven we may well have found ourselves trapped with no way out.  It turned out to be the right decision because today the Princes Highway was closed and we would in fact have been at the mercy of the elements.  Instead we found ourselves in a beautiful location in Mollymook and this morning my two friends and their beautiful schnauzers and I went for a wonderful walk along the beach.  I was highly amused to see the two swimmers standing and pondering whether they should dive in or call it quits.  I’m happy to say that just after I had taken this image they both dived in :)
