It may look captivating as it forms beautiful crystals on your car windows, or grown miniature forests on you fence posts.

But it is secretly tearing apart the cell walls of the plants in my garden. It is even quietly destroying the seemingly indestructible tarmac I walk and drive upon. I hope it doesn’t get any of the pipe work in my house.
