Autumn burst
Despite the sun rising earlier and the leaves turning yellow, there is still much of summer left.
For most of our summer , we've had cool temperatures, but for the last few weeks temperatures raging in the thirties were the order of the day ...
This year we have been very unfortunate as far as rainfall is concerned. The green in the garden is much due to the fact that the breeze from the sea carries a bit of moisture that maintains plant life to some extent.
The lawn has started to tone down its rapid growth - due to a lack of summer rains, but also because winter is on its way.
I notice that the Camellias are full of buds - will provide some color for the winter. And on the sidewalk, the Magnolia is preparing to show off herself!
