Darwen Tower

Jubilee Tower, or Darwen Tower as it's generally called (being on the hills over Darwen) is at the end of a great walk up through Sunnyhurst woods, and on a clear day you can see for miles. We climbed to the top today, and braved the strong winds to look out at the view. Around the base of the tower, walkers huddled from the wind, drinking from flasks to warm up before heading back out.
