Winter Wonderland

This morning I set off at 8am to drive over to Milton Keynes for the weekend. It rained overnight and was very very cold.  I drove for 3 hours in fog and freezing temperatures, but at times also through a beautiful winter wonderland caused by a hoarfrost. There were better views than this, but this was the only safe place I passed to stop and take a photo. 

At lunchtime I had a lovely meal with 4 friends that I worked with 25 years ago. Then I visited my friend L who I stayed with overnight. So lovely to have a good catch up.
