Brave little Tortoise

My friend Marietha and her husband David, are holidaying in the far North of South Africa.

They were on their way back to Ekuthuleni, their resort, from Phalaborwa in Limpopo Province, where they went to see an ophthalmologist today, when they noticed this little beauty on the highway!

Being the animal lovers that they are, see my blip here
they stopped immediately and rescued him by carrying him across the road and into the bushes, where he can safely be re-united with his family.

She immediately decided that I must blip this today, e-mailed it to me, and there you are!
