It turns out that the abandoned guest room, used as a storage room, has been used in its proper capacity unbeknownst to us. This little fellow appeared today and is firmly stuck to the wall, probably looking for something tasty to eat. With all this cleaning out, he might be a bit hungry.

Just as well our guests used to live in South Africa and are used to geckos. My sister, on the other hand, would totally freak out.
