Pink cup
A glorious day for the first of the month - bright, cold and crisp. You guessed it - we went out! Today we did the Gubbeen Loop, 10k along small roads, over a clapper bridge, down to small piers with big views out to Long Island and beyond and an encounter with a small boy and his mum having a great time with a bubble blowing machine!. It was lovely and we ate our lunch at Colla Pier, watching a man with five dogs throw sticks for them into the sea- only one was brave enough to leap fully in. There was some nice dereliction en route too - this gnarly window with pink cup caught my eye. You can see the whole house in the extras (which I am recycling so nothing will be up for very long!) The house was big, jammed to the gills with rubbish but the land had been recently cleared so who knows.
It's now very chilly. I hope Himself might make us a warming curry.
