Blips are like Buses .....

.....  you wait for ages and then they all come along at once:-)  We did not expect to meet King Robert the Bruce while having coffee in M^S, but there he was with his wife and a servant girl!  All to do with a special St Andrew's Day weekend and the 700th Anniversary of when The Bruce climbed the city walls and re-took Perth from the English.

Outside, our ears were assaulted by the heavy base notes of Big Country giving it their all on a stage opposite the theatre.  Most of the crowd knew all the words to the songs, but would be deaf by the time they had finished as the noise level was set at Painful.  

I noticed a couple of new murals on the wall behind the stage (see Extras) and liked them both.  Finally we were entertained by the Vale of Atholl Pipe Band in the High Street - much more to our taste:-)  A very enjoyable afternoon out on a cold and frosty fay.
