Remember

This statue to Javier Pérez Ramos is on the beach front at Costa Adeje. The story is and I quote .....
'on March 31, 1998, a treacherous wave suddenly put out the life of Javier Pérez Ramos when he was 31 years old. Minutes before, he had not hesitated to jump into the sea with other companions to rescue a tourist, whom they managed to put safe, while he was swallowed by the sea. His body appeared at eight days later'
He died saving another. And is remembered for posterity.
