A beautiful early winter morning...
...and as such a welcome change after the rain, sleet, slush and snow of previous days. -6°C and sunny once the sun had appeared above the treetops. This was taken long before that, over half an hour before sunrise.
Quite peaceful at home, but I heard there was a lot of people already in the morning at the shopping malls and supermarkets. Well, that's better than what happened 80 years ago. It was the first day of the Finnish Winter War, with Soviet troops coming across the border and Helsinki and some other towns being bombed at sunrise. Thankful to those who defended our freedom and independence back then.
