Smile and clap

Last day of graduations...and lovely to end the week with sunshine despite the sharp snap of cold. Both went well, with a rather good speech from Carrie Gracie as one of the honorary degree recipients.
Over to the Lyceum for the annual Christmas show with V and her granddaughters. They were all excited and dressed in full party sparkle, loving the VIP bits - chocolate and ice cream and activity books on the theme of the play. The show was an Edinburgh version of A Christmas Carol. Cleverly done and lots of humour and effects, although the ghostly voices and scary Marley was too much for N, so V had to take her out and play in the lounge till It finished. Bit of a shame, but A-R loved it!
This is going to be a busy weekend. I’m determined to finish the unpacking and get the place ready for Mt&H coming next weekend with the little ones.
