Agates Button Project

So what to do when one has a bunch of really cool newly polished agates.

Our son gave us a turtle shaped dish in which to pile the stones; indeed, they look great as the turtle bowl's shiny shell.

One idea I came up with is buttons from appropriately shaped flat agates.

My leather workshop vest is funky in the extreme well broken in.

I'm thinking outrageous agate buttons will shine it up considerably.

The new buttons may even change Kathy's mind regarding her thoughts about the need for composting my vest to put it out of its misery ;-)
