Learning to water ski

I confess this is not a current photo but came across it during some writing up of memoirs today. That's me as a novice water skier in younger days.  I didn't do much of it but still recall the last run...having successfully negotiated crossing the wake in the whip around, it began to rain and the water smoothed out like glass.  Letting go of the rope it felt like flying skimming in to land.  Ah - a special memory.
