A U3A Walk...

This afternoon I led a U3A walk.from St Sampson’s Harbour to St Peter Port Harbour. The distance is just 3 miles along the coast but if you want to avoid the coast then it is considerably longer because the land just inland is marshy in places and although there are plenty of roads along the seafront heading inland there are none going north/south.
Until relatively recently there was no path either but Living Streets created a path as a shortcut for children to get to and from school either walking or by bike.
So we walked this route then made a detour for cake and coffee. It was raining when we started but soon cleared up so we had a delightful afternoon.
