Waterhead, Ambleside

A drive into the lakes as the weather was set fair. In fact, better than fair - wall to wall sunshine and deep blue skies. Wonderful.

To Grasmere and lunch at Baldrys. Grandson made short work of scrambled egg on toast and Santana and son waded through the famous rarebits - highly recommended.

We also had a look around a craft fair at Heaton Cooper - chatted to a couple of stall holders we know. Really good fair.

From here to Waterhead where JJ was able to walk along the lakeshore and paddle.
