It's done

Over the years I am learning what works for us as a family when it comes to decorating for Christmas.
Having a child with ASD can throw some things in the mix. And even the simplest things of Xmas decorations can be stressful etc.

This year was definitely better. The boy's had a great time decorating the tree. Especially the middle wildling.
The baubles are clumped together, the tinsel is wonky and it looks like chaos. But I LOVE it. It was done by them ( except the lights) .
I have a few friends who have to have the perfect trees and don't let their children touch it. We certainly couldn't do that here. And I wouldn't.
Harper is like a kitten with the tree. Ha.

We also have the Santa cam up too.

I love the picture of trying to get all 3 together. That's the reality of getting photos here. And for me the best kind. Her face is priceless. Some tinsel touched her foot .
