Kelvingrove

A day in Glasgow! R&E motored us through and dropped us off right at the door of Oran Mor, for tis the season to enjoy a traditional Christmas panto. And Glasgow, although divested of almost everything which once made it great, has surely retained its crown in the realm of the panto. And what a great show it was, oh yes it was, starring Dave Anderson - the second time we’ve seen him this year (extras).
Then on to Kelvingrove for the Linda McCartney retrospective, which is very decent indeed, captions excepted. But then the real litmus test. How good are the scones? Oh dear.
They were sooo dry that as soon as I was home I had to head to Brewhemia to slake my thirst. Well, two old colleagues had retired and I thought they might appreciate some tips on surviving retirement. And they’d a tab open at the bar... would be a shame not to...
