Scratch and sniff

A blue and gold day, so this was going to be called 'Still celebrating autumn'.  Because I have been.  Only then the thought of my kids and their once highly prized 'scratch & sniff' stickers just bubbled up.  A name that must have been the product of a more innocent age, don't you think?

Well Squiggle does.

And I make no apologies for yet another blip of these quarrelsome, destructive little animals.  I could spend hours watching them chasing eachother and scampering around their sweet-chestnut highrise on the green.

Also this morning in the reserve I saw the astonishing sight in Extras!
