Smokey 1602 hr (Wednesday 27th November 2019)

Since I've been stopping him clambering onto my shelves, Smokey instead climbs onto the portable (warm) TV monitor on my desk top, under a giant anglepoise lamp, and gazes down at me from his lofty height.

Sleep - From Beyond (recorded Razor's Edge Studio, San Francisco CA, 1992)
Sleep were considered one of the pioneers of the stoner rock genre, although that particular descriptor didn't surface until about 1997. Stuart Maconie featured their second album, Holy Mountain, on his Freak Show this month on a programme I caught up with on this day.
