A Big Yawn

Diane and I went to the Oregon Zoo this afternoon to get a picture of Lily, the 2 month old baby elephant. Unfortunately, we arrived just as the elephants were going inside. So I had to settle for a big yawn from this sea lion.

This is a Steller Sea Lion that lives on rocky shores and in coastal waters of the North Pacific.

The Steller sea lion was named for George Wilhelm Steller, a German naturalist.
