In full flow.....

A lot of rain last night and this morning. Every field has a river running over it and the field drains are at full blast. This is the burn next door , lower than it was first thing.
A morning spent bringing in the spring calving cows to wean their calves, so a noisy night ahead next door.
After lunch , brought in 30 cows with their wee calves as the field they were in up the hill was water logged and has no shelter since the Estate cut down the shelter woods a couple of years ago.
Still a lot more to house but they will need to wait for other days.
The contractor in cutting hedges but he was limited to which ones he could do as the fields so wet. Roll on summer !
