Holly berries

Morning spent doing late season tidying in the garden - the berries on our very large holly tree were shining in the sunshine although the ground below is covered with berries stripped off by the birds.
Afternoon had a bracing 11 holes of golf in the sunshine with 3 friends but it turned bitterly cold when the sun set below the horizon and we stopped for coffee!
In the evening we had 2 friends for a meal to wish them Bon voyage as they set off tomorrow on an exciting 6 week holiday to HK, Australia and New Zealand and not forgetting of course that it is Thanksgiving for our friends and relatives in USA.
