My first Christmas card arrived, from an old friend of my parents.
Work in the morning, and people are really buying for C now. Then afterwards Hazel and I went out for Christmas lunch with our exercise class. The food was a bit of a disaster but the pub admitted it and didn’t charge us, only the £5 deposit. And they provided a few bottles of wine too. I enjoyed my roast parsnips and the dessert, and the company.
