At our gate

One day, hopefully, it will be OpenReach bringing us fibre broadband but, although things are actually at long last beginning to move in that direction, it is very early 'survey' days as yet. We knew of course that these men were after water, or at least access to the water system so they could apply a very clever bit of technical equipment that will help them trace a leak quite a way away from here. 

Interesting picture anyway though because it shows the strange day we have had, a day when the sun actually broke through the grey sky that has been over us for most of the week. Over the hills you can see the cloud, because there was still some rain on the high ground, but with us it had turned into a lovely afternoon - see the blue sky and light reflected in the car.
