Fine dining

This is The Restaurant, the most elegant dining venue on our ship. At lunchtime, it’s quiet, beautifully civilised, cool out of the sun and with amazing staff.

I eat less if I choose from a menu and these are  fairly small portions. If I eat from the buffet, I tend to eat more.

We only have two more days at sea - otherwise we’re in port. 

On a sea day like today, I play bridge. I’m playing with a lovely new partner, Finnish and living in America. She plays a different system from me but I tried to learn it.  The standard on this part of the cruise is crazily high ! A tournament international from Greece and an international organiser from Perth. And that is only one of the pairs. 

We came bottom but it was still huge fun....
