Orchid...

These petals were in the bath this morning having fallen off the still flowering orchid on the window sill. I’m always reluctant to throw them away as they are still so perfect and beautiful.

My extra are less so. I joined Big Sis on a ramble with others from her church walking group. Sadly it was so muddy and waterlogged along much of the route, we had to turn back, and give ourselves a longer coffee stop. Lucky to catch a few dry hours though as the heavens opened as soon as we got home.
