Blast Off...

A surreal view of the water tower this morning and we slid around the dog walk on the mud.  It's the worst sort of weather for dog walking but Martin and I both still love a reason to get out in the fresh air as a start to the day, and Jess is happy to oblige.

Since Hong Kong seems now to be out of the BBC news I thought I'd give you an update here.  The siege at the University has ended but the situation is certainly not resolved.  Ben - having escaped to Korea - is making the most of the travelling opportunities, though he still has to submit assignments, research and apply for an alternative placement, keep in contact with Leeds Uni, CUHK Uni, the insurance department at Leeds Uni, the actual insurance company and us - with a time difference of 9 hours.  Not easy.
