Ducks

There have been local sightings of pochard, golden eye and teal on the river. I saw mallards. Good to see them but not exactly exciting.

The weather has been so much cheerier today. Sunshine! And it felt a bit colder too which is more seasonal. The four year old and I went to the shops today to get her feet measured. Then we went to the library where she concentrated hard on the craft activities before choosing some books.

We're home now and waiting for her dad and the baby sister to arrive so that we can do a bit more settling in with her. Then when the girls go home it's participatory budgeting and community council for me so it's a late night ahead. Doubtless I'll have a busy head after all that.
