At the Party

I was invited to a coffee party which included mostly women. The coffee company provide the coffee and paper products and gift bags for H.'s guests. Her husband and children were around. M, the youngest, loved all the activities, cakes, pies and cookies, too. M's wearing the grey tights and black shirt. She's the one I tried to get a photo of when this girl sitting right next to me looked into the camera.
This daughter of a guest reached amazing heights of sulky and rude behaviour. All I can think is that she just stepped into the new realm of puberty and other forces have her in their clutches.
The look she gave me here is one she gave everyone in the party. ..captured!
