Park

Given the dreich weather and the forecast of rain later, it was surprising that as many as 37 Ramblers turned up at the start of our walk in Cumbernauld Village this morning. The rain actually held off for the most part, only arriving about 20 minutes or so before the end.

From Cumbernauld Village we walked into Cumbernauld Glen and up to Cumbernauld House Park (pictured). Our circular route around the Park brought us out at the 'far' end of the Glen. We walked down into the Glen and then through it back to the Village. Just short of five miles, just under two hours. A pleasant little Tuesday morning, all things considered.
