Meridian Weather

My outing today was to the doctor’s for an appointment with the nurse to have my dressings changed, and I had to be there at 10.15am. It was Alan’s first day back in the office but he worked for an hour at home and dropped me off at the surgery on his way.

The dressings were quite well stuck, but she managed to remove them ok and a couple of the wounds have already healed so she left those uncovered.

I was supposed to be meeting Chrissy at the local tea room after my appointment but I felt a bit nauseous this morning, so I cancelled and went home. I think it was the effects of the codeine I took this morning, and it wore off thankfully. I then decided to catch the bus to Rottingdean to go and see Elif, and I managed to get my coat and sling on, but it was raining so heavily and I couldn’t manage by bag and umbrella in one hand, so I decided not to go. It’s so frustrating!

Anyway, the highlight of my day was getting an email from ITV Meridian Weather to let me know that they were using one of my images on tonight’s weather programme. As I hadn’t taken any photos again, I took a screen capture for my blip - sadly the lines across the screen are why we need to buy a new TV, but there’s not much I can do about that. I should add that this sunrise was from last Wednesday, not today!
