Snow

We woke up to a perfect dusting of snow this morning. The adventure north would have been complete if only we'd had the whole day to enjoy the magic and our dear friends join us as planned. Instead, we snatched moments as we went to put the bin out, just before we packed the last of our bags into the car, swapping our wellies for shoes this time and heading back to grey and rainy skies (and a day at work for me) in the city. Over too soon.
