Clematis

Out in the garden this afternoon, I noticed that one of the clematis plants on our arch was covered in buds - just a couple of flowers open.  I hadn't really noticed that it wasn't flowering before this - it's a rather lovely flower, but noticing the absence of something needs more awareness than noticing its presence!  On looking back, I see that I first blipped this clematis almost exactly 2 years ago (on a much sunnier day than today) - but at the time, I commented that it had been flowering for a month.  The label (which is still attached and legible) says it flowers from October to January.  Perhaps November is the new October?
