Now there's a thing

Yesterday our new cloakroom roller blind was finally fitted. I thought that the pull chain was short, and said so. Not only was it too short to allow the blind to wind fully up or down, Redilady could only just reach it when standing on her toes.
I was told that the length was to comply with the latest safety regulations and given a copy of the fitting instuctions to prove it. The fitter also accidentally left a length of chain and a couple of these safety links so that I could alter things to my own liking.
I've done that and got my Tiny Tuesday blip as well.
