Testing the Water....

Here is Maisie tip-toeing into the surf at one of our favourite places..... Monkey Bay at Rarangi. Duncan and I made a quick trip there this afternoon to collect seaweed. Duncan uses it in compost. It was almost 32C in the shade at home... the highest temperature in the country. Phew... I did some gardening in the shade this morning and it was exhausting. Duncan and Bryan, his cat arrived early this afternoon. Poor Bryan! His thick fur coat was far too hot for this sort of weather.
