Wild West Coast

Back Blip (no internet) - I've back blipped  yesterday's.

The weather today was tops, in fact we were talking to the farmer that owns the property, he said it was the best day for a month or more !
The plan was to walk, explore, and generally take in the beauty of this area....and that we did. 
After having breakfast on the veranda we set off at 9 am.  We thought we would be able to walk the beach in places, but that wasn't to be - it was high tide and the waves were crashing onto the rocks big time.  So plan B quickly came into being.....we will walk the cliffs and view the beaches/rocks from a height.  Whilst that sounds easy, there isn't a path at all, we scrambled, slipped, climbed,  sidled around, ambled, meandered, walked through bogs, more climbing and slipping.  It was hard work at times, but the views were nothing short of magnificent.  The coastline is very rocky, the sea carved and sculptured some beautiful structures....we did have a map  (sortof), which gave us a few spots that we recognised, namely the maze (which was truly amazing), the labyrinth (again incredible) and a blowhole or two.  Also a grave high up on the hill. We found seats which we took advantage of, we found cattle and newly born calves, sheep.  And surprisingly we weren't alone, we met a couple from The Netherlands who were staying in another farm accommodation, took the time for a chat.  The return wasn't quite so difficult as we found a farm track that took us back to our cottage a different way.  It took us 5 hours for the round trip, we were tired but very satisfied.

Once back, it was showers, a rest then wines followed by a hearty dinner.
After dinner, I did find some energy to go down to the beach with my Big Stopper for some long exposures.
Then it was early to bed for all four.
