Canal Barges Light display

A festival of lights along the Canal as the barges make their (more or less) last excursions of the season.
Even through all the rain and drizzle people supported this event carrying their lanterns and torches alongside the barges.
Now, I know that I am useless taking photos of lights at night, I just get mainly zig-zaggy lines of colour and so I had planned to take photos of the earlier event I went to (in support of Luke once again organising a Tombola) at the Edinburgh Rudolph Steiner school Christmas Market. There are so many colourful stalls that don't involve movement for the camera.
So I came all the way home eventually and realised I'd been so engrossed in the whole event I'd forgotten to take any photos!
