Bum back leg

We have seen this doe , with the injured back leg, for over two months . We are always happy/sad when she appears again. With her injury we thought she would be easily hit by a car or other circumstances would take her. The extra is of her son, maybe that is why she is still around , she needs to show him the ropes!!
