Survivors
Crocus laevigatus, a dark form which always flowers late, sometimes as late as Christmas. It’s been out in the front garden at the old house for about twenty years. I have noticed a few similarly long lived survivors out there recently which I shall hopefully relocate to a new place in due course.
I popped there to collect some apples for Ruth which Jamie and I have just delivered. Tea in Birmingham then onward to Wales where we view a bungalow tomorrow.
