THE LAST ROSE?
As it was the first dryish day for weeks we worked on the front garden.
I have never seen so many wet soggy leaves and I wasn't allowed anywhere near the roses until Mr A had cleared them all.
So eventually I was able to prune them hard. They have been growing up and up so I'm hoping the cut back will help them next year. This beauty was growing up in the air over 10 ft tall.
In the late afternoon we took Matthew to Montacute House and gardens where we enjoyed a lovely walk around the grounds. Roast Beef for dinner was scrumptious and ended a good day.
Gloomy again this morning so trying to find something for Matthew to do. He wanted to visit Barrington Court but they're closed this week and last as they have had film crews in again!!
Hope everyone has a good week. With love xxxx
