Steve
Last photo group for the year, and it was a great session.
We had a talk from local lad, Steve Liddell, about his life as a photographer pre photoshop.
Lots of tales to tell and an overview of how he worked in the area of high fashion, the locations he visited and political problems.
He was also responsible for the first iconic photos of fireworks over the harbour bridge in the bicentenary, 1988, the first time the candles covered the arch.
The shot he's holding was taken in Egypt, and I persuaded him to let me snap him holding it.
The rest of the day was spent getting the stones out of cherries and making cherry jam.
It's bubbling away as write, and taking forever to set.
